Home Physiotherapy in Pimpri-Chinchwad & Hinjewadi

Proper Care Physiotherapy visits patients at home across Pimpri-Chinchwad, Hinjewadi, Wakad, Pimple Saudagar, Nigdi and Bhosari. A physiotherapist assesses you in your flat or house, treats the problem and leaves a plan the family can follow. This is the farthest zone from our South Pune base, so visits are scheduled in advance as a time window.

Pimpri-Chinchwad, or PCMC, is a city in its own right, north-west of Pune along the Pavana river, and Hinjewadi's IT park sits on its western side. Searches for physiotherapy at home in PCMC come from two kinds of household: families rooted in the old industrial towns, and newer residents in the township societies of Wakad, Hinjewadi and Pimple Saudagar. Proper Care Physiotherapy visits both, sending a physiotherapist to the patient's door.

Pimpri-Chinchwad is the farthest of our zones from the clinic base on Katraj–Kondhwa Road in South Pune, so visits here are scheduled in advance and given as a time window. This page explains how the area works and what to expect. The area cards below list every locality we cover.

Two cities in one: factories and IT parks

The older parts of the city grew around industry. Hindustan Antibiotics began work in Pimpri in the 1950s, MIDC then developed industrial land across Pimpri, Chinchwad and Bhosari, and automobile makers such as Tata Motors (formerly Telco) and Bajaj Auto, whose two- and three-wheeler plant is at Akurdi, drew in a large number of ancillary workshops. Pimpri includes Pimpri Camp, laid out after Partition as a settlement for refugees, while Chinchwad is known for the Morya Gosavi shrine, whose temple records say its construction began in 1658. Families here often include factory staff, supervisors and retired workers who spent years on a shop floor.

The western edge looks different. Hinjewadi is home to the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, a business park of about 2,800 acres developed by MIDC, with offices of several hundred companies. Wakad and Pimple Saudagar have many newer apartment societies, popular with people who work in the park, while Nigdi and Bhosari are established residential areas with industry nearby.

What commonly brings PCMC families to us

The reasons for a visit follow the way people work. IT staff in Hinjewadi and Wakad bring neck, shoulder and lower back pain from long hours at a desk; for these we suggest reading about back pain physiotherapy and shoulder pain physiotherapy. Many are parents, and a strained back from lifting a child, or a stiff neck from a phone, is routine. For people who ride a two-wheeler through heavy traffic, pain often follows the commute.

Industrial workers and their families bring a different set of problems: joint pain from years of standing, lifting or machine work, and hip and knee trouble in later life. Our hip pain physiotherapy guide covers the common causes. Where shift work makes clinic hours hard to keep, a home session can be easier to fit in.

In both groups, a parent who lives with a working son or daughter may have had a stroke, a fracture or a joint replacement. We teach the household how to help, because someone is usually at home in the evening.

Traffic, bridges and getting to Hinjewadi

Hinjewadi is prone to heavy congestion in the morning and evening peaks, when the park's workforce travels in and out and heavy vehicles are barred from entering. A third metro line from Hinjewadi towards Civil Court has been under construction, and a metro line already runs from PCMC Bhavan towards Swargate. Between Pimpri, Chinchwad and Nigdi the older roads are busy through the day, so the time a journey takes varies widely.

Because of the distance from our South Pune base and these traffic patterns, we ask for notice and a flexible window. We would rather give an honest window than an exact minute we cannot keep, and we will let you know if the physiotherapist is delayed. If you are in Hinjewadi, tell us the phase, the society and the gate, as the park is large.

Housing: high-rises, township societies and older flats

In the newer parts of PCMC, a physiotherapist's session may take place high up in a tower, with a lift, a balcony and an in-society walkway. In older buildings, such as those in the established parts of Pimpri and Chinchwad, there may be no lift at all. We plan around both: where a lift exists, the lobby and the corridor are walking practice; where it does not, we work on the stairs once it is safe.

When you book, please give us the society and wing or building, the floor, a landmark and a contact number for the gate. These details matter because the townships are large and visitors are usually registered at the gate.

Booking a physiotherapist in Pimpri-Chinchwad

You can request a visit online or call us, and charges are listed on the pricing page. At the first visit the physiotherapist takes a history, checks for signs that need a doctor first, watches how you move around your home and, where appropriate, starts treatment. We do not promise a recovery time; that depends on the condition and on how regularly you follow the plan.

Common Questions

Home physiotherapy in Pimpri-Chinchwad and Hinjewadi: questions families ask

Do you offer physiotherapy at home in PCMC and Hinjewadi?
Yes. We visit Pimpri, Chinchwad, Nigdi, Bhosari, Wakad, Hinjewadi and Pimple Saudagar, among other areas. Our base is in South Pune, so we book PCMC visits in advance as a time window.
I work in an IT park and have neck and back pain. Can I be seen at home?
Yes. The physiotherapist looks at how you sit, move and sleep, treats the painful area and gives you exercises that suit a desk job. Tell us which hours you are at home when you book.
My father worked in a factory and now has trouble with his knees. Can you help?
Yes. Years of standing, lifting and machine work can leave joints stiff and painful. The physiotherapist examines the knee, hip and back, treats the problem and sets up a plan for walking and stairs.
What should I tell you when I book from a large Hinjewadi or Wakad society?
Give us the phase or area, society name, wing, floor and a contact number for the gate. Large townships often register visitors, and these details avoid a delay.
Why can't you promise an exact arrival time in PCMC?
The distance from our South Pune base and the traffic around Hinjewadi and the older Pimpri-Chinchwad roads make exact times unreliable. We agree a window and tell you if the physiotherapist is delayed.
