Physiotherapists visit homes in Pimple Saudagar, Pune, including Kokane Chowk and Kunal Icon Road, and in Pimple Nilakh, Pimple Gurav and Rahatani.
If you live in Pimple Saudagar, you probably know the layout by heart: society after society along a grid of internal roads, a chowk where everything funnels together, and a family that is part IT office, part school run, part parent upstairs who no longer goes out. Proper Care Physiotherapy sends a physiotherapist to your door, so the assessment and the exercises happen in the flat where the problem plays out.
Distance matters here, and we would rather say so plainly. Our base is on Katraj–Kondhwa Road in South Pune, and Pimple Saudagar is one of the farther zones we serve. Home physiotherapy in Pimple Saudagar is therefore booked ahead, with an agreed time window. Once the first visit is done, the follow-ups can be fixed on a rhythm that suits the household.
Pimple Saudagar sits in the north-west of Pimpri-Chinchwad, between the Pavana, Mula and Indrayani rivers, with the Pavana bridge leading across towards Pimprigaon and Pimpri. Most of the homes are apartments in gated societies, and the people we hear from are usually one of three kinds: a working adult with a stiff neck or aching back, a parent who moved in with a son or daughter, or a family bringing someone home from hospital.
The home visit is built around that reality. The physiotherapist looks at the lift, the corridor, the bathroom floor and the sofa the patient sinks into. A plan that works in a ground-floor bungalow does not always work on the ninth floor of a tower, and the reverse is true as well.
Kokane Chowk is the junction most Pimple Saudagar residents mention first, and the traffic authority changed its parking rules in 2023 to keep vehicles moving. Kunal Icon Road is the other name you will hear. A December 2025 report said concrete road building and underground utility work on a stretch of about 700 metres was around 60 per cent complete, with residents using rear service lanes and society access roads in the meantime. A separate project to rebuild the road between Shivar Chowk and Chhatrapati Chowk has been described as a long job, planned in phases.
For a visit, this means three small favours. Give us the society name, the wing and the floor. Tell us the chowk you are nearest to and which lane is usable that week. And expect a time window, not a minute. If a lane is closed or a festival procession has changed the traffic, we will tell you before the visit if the window has to shift.
A flat in a gated society usually comes with a lift. That is good for access, and it quietly takes stairs out of daily life. An older person who rides the lift everywhere loses stair confidence within a few months, and a new hip or knee then meets the step at a relative's house or a clinic with no preparation.
At the first visit we watch how the patient gets from bed to bathroom, how they step over the door threshold and how they cope with a low sofa or a floor mat. Stair practice is added if the doctor agrees and the patient will meet stairs in real life. If not, the work stays on strength, balance and safe transfers indoors.
We also see neck and shoulder problems in people who work at a dining table, and leg pain that starts in the back. Our pages on neck pain physiotherapy, sciatica treatment and arthritis physiotherapy explain how these are handled.
Pimple Saudagar runs into three neighbours that each feel different on a home visit, and each has its own page.
Other pages nearby: Wakad and Hinjewadi to the west, Aundh to the south and Pimpri across the river.
Many households here have two working adults. That shapes how we plan a visit. A patient who is alone at home from mid-morning may be easier to see then than in the evening, and a patient who needs a family member present at the first visit may be easier to see after work. Tell us who will be there, and we will try to match the window. If you work from home, say whether you can step away from calls for the first hour. The first appointment is longer than the later ones, because it includes the history and the full assessment.
If the person booking is not the patient, give us a phone number for someone who can open the door and answer questions. We send the plan back to the person who booked, so a daughter in another city or a son at the office can follow progress.
Most of our patients start on the corridor or the society compound, where the floor is flat, shaded and has a rail or bench within reach. Beyond that, pavements in a dense township are often narrow and shared with parked vehicles and scooters, so we are cautious about sending someone out before their balance is ready. We will tell you when a longer walk makes sense, and what to carry and watch for when you do it.
The physiotherapist asks about the pain or weakness, what you can and cannot do, medicines, surgery and what the doctor has said. Then comes a physical assessment of movement, strength, balance and the real tasks of your day. You leave with a short plan, a few exercises that fit the flat and a clear idea of what will be reviewed next time. Keep scan reports, prescriptions or a discharge summary ready. The pricing page explains what a session costs.
Sudden weakness or numbness on one side, a drooping face, slurred speech, chest pain, breathlessness, a fall with a suspected fracture, or loss of bladder or bowel control need emergency care, not a home visit. Go to the nearest hospital emergency department. Once the doctor has found the cause and cleared you, physiotherapy can begin or resume.
Choose the nearest neighbourhood above, note the society, wing and floor, and book an appointment with a few days' notice where you can. We will confirm a date and a time window. If the patient is still in hospital, you can book before discharge so that the first visit falls in the first days at home.
