Home Physiotherapy in Dighi, Bhosari, Pune

Physiotherapist home visits in Dighi, Pune, along Alandi Road, for back and knee pain, stroke and surgery recovery, with visits booked in advance.

Dighi sits on the Alandi Road side of Pimpri-Chinchwad, and its daily rhythm follows that road. Riders, drivers, school buses and PMPML buses share it, and the families who live along it often tell us the same thing: getting an older relative to a clinic takes longer than the appointment does. Proper Care Physiotherapy offers home physiotherapy in Dighi for exactly that reason. The physiotherapist comes to you, and the road is our problem instead of the patient's.

Dighi is one of the sub-areas we cover under Bhosari. It is a long way from our base on Katraj–Kondhwa Road, so visits are booked in advance, as explained below.

Alandi Road and what it does to a day

Alandi Road is the spine of Dighi. In May 2026 a local organisation raised concerns about three junctions on the road in Ward No. 2, saying they lack signals and crossings, and reports that month linked growing traffic from Lohegaon, Dhanori, Alandi, Dighi and Vishrantwadi, together with flyover and underground construction at Vishrantwadi, to worse congestion. We cannot say how those junctions will change, but the lesson for a visit is clear: leave room in the schedule.

We therefore book a time window, not an exact arrival. If the physiotherapist is held up, you will be told. For a patient who has to be ready, seated and fed at a particular time, say so when you book, and we will see what window can be offered.

The BRT lane and the bus stops you may use as directions

A BRT corridor runs along part of the road. According to a Pune news report from April 2023, services between Kate Colony in Charholi and Dattanagar in Dighi resumed on 12 April that year after a long delay, with stops that include Sankalp Garden, Balaji Mandir and Magazine Chowk. These are handy references. When you give an address, "near the Balaji Mandir BRT stop" or "behind Magazine Chowk" is more useful to a visiting physiotherapist than a society name that is not on any map.

A pin code shared with Dhanori and Vishrantwadi

The Dighi Camp post office uses 411015, the same code as the Dhanori and Vishrantwadi offices, which is a reminder of how closely the three are linked by Alandi Road. If you live near the boundary and are not sure which page applies, Vishrantwadi is the next stop towards the city.

What people in Dighi usually ask for

The requests that come from a commuter corridor are fairly predictable.

For the condition itself, the knee pain guide gives the general explanation.

Palkhi days and other diversions

Dighi lies on the road to Alandi, the pilgrimage town on the Indrayani river. Traffic police announce diversions in the Dighi-Alandi division when processions and festivals bring crowds, and the Dahi Handi restrictions of 5 September 2026 also named routes in this division. If your appointment falls near such a day, tell us, or ask whether it is wiser to move it. A missed window helps nobody, least of all a patient who has been waiting.

Homes, stairs and caregivers

Dighi has older houses and low-rise buildings as well as newer apartment blocks. In a house with an outside staircase, or an apartment on an upper floor, the stairs are part of the first assessment. The physiotherapist watches the patient climb, looks at the handrail, and works out the safest way to practise. The same applies to the bathroom, where wet floors and low seats are the commonest causes of trouble after surgery or a stroke.

When the family is out at work, we ask who will be at home to let the physiotherapist in, and we explain the exercises to that person. Where no one can be present, the plan can be sent to whoever booked, if the patient agrees.

Urgent signs

Call an ambulance or go to an emergency department for a sudden droop of the face, weakness of an arm or leg, slurred speech, chest pain, loss of bladder or bowel control, or a fall with severe pain. Fever after surgery or a calf that is hot, red and swollen also needs prompt medical review.

Neighbours and booking

Nearby, our pages for Indrayani Nagar and Moshi cover the other parts of Bhosari. When you are ready, the booking page is the place to start. Include the nearest chowk or BRT stop, the floor, and the times someone is home.

Common Questions

Home physiotherapy in Dighi: questions families ask

Do you cover the area along Alandi Road near Magazine Chowk?
Yes. Magazine Chowk and the lanes around it are part of our Dighi coverage. Give the nearest chowk or bus stop when you book, and tell us which side of Alandi Road you are on.
Does the Alandi Road traffic delay visits?
It can. Alandi Road is a heavily used corridor, and local reports in 2026 describe accident-prone junctions and ongoing flyover work at Vishrantwadi. We therefore agree a time window and tell you if the physiotherapist is held up.
My father rides a motorcycle on Alandi Road every day. Should he stop?
Not necessarily. The physiotherapist looks at how he sits, how long he rides and what happens to the pain afterwards, and suggests changes. If riding brings leg numbness or weakness, he should get medical advice.
Can you come for a stroke patient who cannot leave the house?
Yes. Home visits are meant for this. The physiotherapist works on movement and transfers in the home and shows the family what to practise.
