The checklist

Six things the best physiotherapy clinic should offer

Use these to compare any clinic in Pune. Under each one is how we answer it.

A qualified, doctor-led team

Ask who will actually treat you, and what they are qualified in.

Treatment plans are set by our lead consultant physiotherapist (MPT) and delivered by a team of 12 qualified physiotherapists, with more than 15 years of clinical experience behind the practice.

Meet the team →

An assessment before any treatment

A good clinic examines you before it decides what to do.

Your first visit is a free 45-minute assessment at home: history, examination, the likely cause, and a plan you can say yes or no to.

Book the free assessment →

One-to-one time, not a shared hall

Find out how long you are actually with the physiotherapist.

Every session is one patient with one physiotherapist, for up to 45 minutes, in your own home. No machines running unattended while the therapist moves between beds.

Treatment where you actually live

Exercises learned in a gym often fail on your own stairs.

We practise on your stairs, your bed, your bathroom and your floor seating, so what you learn works at home, and nobody who is in pain has to travel.

How home physiotherapy works →

Clear prices before you commit

Ask for the per-session price and what longer plans cost.

Session charges are published on our pricing page, longer courses cost less per visit, and the final cost is confirmed after the free assessment.

Honest about what physiotherapy can't do

Be wary of anyone who promises a cure or a fixed recovery date.

We don't promise recovery times. If your symptoms point to something that needs a doctor or a scan first, we tell you and refer you before treating.

Home or clinic?

Why home physiotherapy works so well in Pune

Pune’s traffic is the first reason. A forty-minute ride each way to a clinic, with a painful back or a knee that has just been replaced, can undo much of what a session achieves. Treating you at home removes that journey, and the time it frees goes into the treatment.

The second reason is that recovery happens at home. Many Pune homes have stairs without a lift, Indian-style toilets or floor seating, and these are exactly the movements that matter. A physiotherapist who can see them builds your exercises around them, which is hard to do from a treatment table across town.

Home visits also suit the people who most need physiotherapy but find it hardest to get to: older parents, patients just discharged from hospital, people recovering from a stroke, and anyone who is bedridden. Family members can watch and learn the exercises, so practice continues between visits.

What we treat

Patient Reviews

What patients across Pune say

  • Suffered frozen shoulder for over 5 months. The therapist visiting our home near Bharti Vidyapeeth was very skilled. Taught me pulley exercises that I still do daily.
    Prakash Mane
  • Review for my 78-year-old father (Rohit Agarwal): After my TKR surgery on my right knee, going down the stairs from my 3rd floor flat in Bibwewadi was impossible. Proper Care's home visits were a godsend. My therapist helped me walk with a walker and then independently.

  • My shoulder pain woke me up every night. After 10 home sessions, the night aching stopped completely.
    Priya Gokhale
  • Review for my 82-year-old mother (Sneha Mane): After my TKR surgery on my right knee, going down the stairs from my 3rd floor flat in Bibwewadi was impossible. Proper Care's home visits were a godsend. My therapist helped me walk with a walker and then independently.

  • Review for my 81-year-old father (Ganesh Kaspate): My total knee replacement rehab was done entirely at home in Katraj. Excellent care, zero rush during sessions, and very encouraging team. Now walking comfortably without support.

Questions

Choosing a physiotherapy clinic in Pune

Which is the best physiotherapy clinic in Pune?
The best clinic for you is the one that assesses you properly, gives you one-to-one time with a qualified physiotherapist, is open about its prices and fits your situation. If travelling is hard, a home-visit clinic like Proper Care removes the journey altogether. Use the checklist on this page to compare any clinic you are considering.
Is home physiotherapy as good as going to a clinic?
For most conditions, yes. The examination, hands-on treatment and exercise work are the same, and practising on your own stairs and furniture often helps more. A few treatments need hospital equipment; if yours does, we will say so at the assessment.
How much does physiotherapy cost in Pune?
Our session charges are listed on the pricing page, with lower per-visit prices for longer courses of treatment. The first 45-minute assessment at home is free, and the total is confirmed only after it.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
No. You can book the free assessment directly. If what we find needs a doctor's opinion or a scan first, we will tell you before starting treatment.
Which areas of Pune do you cover?
We visit homes across Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad, from the old city peths to Hinjewadi and Wagholi. Visits in our core South Pune areas can often be same-day or next-day; farther areas are booked in advance.
Who will come to my home?
A qualified physiotherapist from our team, working to a plan set by the clinical lead. The same physiotherapist usually continues your treatment so they know your progress.
