Physiotherapist home visits in Manjri, Pune, from Manjri Budruk and Manjri Khurd to the Solapur Road belt, for back and knee pain, stroke and surgery care.
Manjri sits at the eastern edge of Pune, out along the Pune–Solapur highway, where fields, a railway line, industrial units and new housing sit side by side. If you are searching for a physiotherapist in Manjri, the usual reason is that getting anywhere from here costs time. A trip to a clinic in Hadapsar can eat an hour of a day that may already include a long shift, and for an older person or a patient after surgery it can be too much. Proper Care Physiotherapy sends a physiotherapist to your door instead.
This page explains how our visits work in Manjri, who commonly asks for them, what to tell us when you book, and how Manjri Budruk and Manjri Khurd fit in.
Wikipedia describes Manjri as a village about 4 km from Hadapsar, close to Keshav Nagar and Fursungi, with a Special Economic Zone and the Serum Institute of India among its industrial neighbours. Manjari Budruk has a railway station on the Pune–Daund line. Property listings describe a mixed settlement along the Solapur highway: older homes, independent houses, gated apartment complexes and an industrial estate. The Mula-Mutha river runs close by.
The mixture is what makes Manjri different from a purely residential suburb. In a single lane you may find a family that has farmed here for generations, a household that moved in last year from another city, and a young couple who work in shifts at a nearby unit. Their needs are not the same, and the physiotherapy plan should not be either.
The journey begins at the clinic base on Katraj–Kondhwa Road, and the physiotherapist usually goes east through Kondhwa, Undri and Handewadi to Hadapsar, then continue along the Solapur highway to Manjri. A MyPunePulse report dated 17 July 2026 says a 36.5 km elevated corridor is planned along Solapur Road, with work due to begin in January 2027 and the Magarpatta flyover to be demolished, which suggests the approach to this side of Pune will stay disrupted for some years.
Heavy vehicles, buses and cars share the highway, and the monsoon adds its own problems: the Mula-Mutha submerged a low-lying link road between Keshav Nagar and Kharadi after heavy rain on 6 July 2026. We book Manjri visits as a time window and keep you informed if the physiotherapist is held up.
Some Manjri addresses are easy to find. Others are in newer layouts, behind a gate, or down a lane that does not appear clearly on a map. When you book, tell us the nearest main road or landmark, the building or house name, the floor, and any gate that must be opened. A pin dropped on a map and a phone number that someone will answer on the day are worth more than a long description.
Many people in this belt work in industrial, warehouse or logistics settings, or commute a long way to offices elsewhere. Shifts on your feet, lifting, repetitive motions and long rides on a two-wheeler are all familiar sources of back, shoulder and knee pain. Sitting for hours in a bus or car does the lower back no favours either. Our guides to back pain physiotherapy and shoulder pain physiotherapy set out the general picture; see back pain physiotherapy in Manjri for how a visit here is planned.
A shift worker is rarely free in office hours, so ask for a slot before or after the shift. We cannot promise one, but we will look for it.
Many homes in the older parts of Manjri are multi-generation: grandparents, parents and children in one house, often with stairs, a courtyard or a terrace. That has benefits. There is always someone around, and a relative can learn a routine. It can also hide a decline in the older person, who may not mention a knee that has begun to give way or a leg that feels weak. For these patients, knee pain physiotherapy in Manjri and elderly physiotherapy in Manjri explain the approach, and the elderly physiotherapy guide gives the background.
For a family in Manjri, the hospital may be in Hadapsar, Magarpatta or elsewhere in the city. A patient discharged after a stroke or an operation has to be moved home, often by road along the highway, and then returned for follow-up. Home physiotherapy reduces the number of those journeys. It lets the early weeks of rehabilitation happen in the patient's own bed and room, with family nearby. See stroke rehabilitation in Manjri and post-surgery rehabilitation in Manjri, and our stroke rehabilitation guide.
You may book before the patient leaves hospital so the first visit follows soon after. Keep the discharge summary and the surgeon's instructions within reach.
The housing here ranges from independent houses with a staircase and no lift to gated complexes with lifts, security desks and visitor registers. Each calls for something different. In a gated complex, tell the security desk to expect the physiotherapist, and have the tower and flat number ready. In a house, we look at the stairs, the bathroom step and the height of the bed. For a patient who cannot yet manage the stairs, the plan may move their daily life to the ground floor for a while, so that rest and exercise happen in the same place.
We also visit nearby Hadapsar, Magarpatta, Fursungi and Mundhwa. If you live between two of them, tell us the landmark and we will confirm.
Once a patient is ready for more than a few steps, choose somewhere flat, dry and free of traffic: a clear corridor, a terrace with a parapet, a society path or a quiet lane. The highway and the riverbank are not places for early walking practice. The physiotherapist builds the distance in stages and chooses the spot with you. Ask before you start anything that is new.
We begin with questions about the problem, illnesses, medicines and scans. The physiotherapist then examines movement, strength and balance, tests the tasks that cause difficulty at home, and checks for signs that need a doctor. Treatment starts in the same visit. You get a short exercise plan, and we explain what to do between sessions. We do not promise a recovery date or a number of sessions.
Sudden weakness on one side of the body, a drooping face, slurred speech, chest pain, severe breathlessness, loss of bladder or bowel control, numbness between the legs, a hot swollen calf, or a fall followed by severe pain or inability to bear weight need urgent medical care. Ring for an ambulance or get to the nearest emergency department, and leave physiotherapy for later.
Choose a day and window on the booking page, and give the lane or building, floor and a landmark. The pricing page shows what a home session costs. If you are unsure which treatment you need, describe the problem and the physiotherapist will advise at the first visit.
