Physiotherapist home visits in Uruli Devachi, Fursungi, Pune, on Saswad Road beyond Manterwadi, booked in advance for pain and rehabilitation at home.
Uruli Devachi lies further out on Saswad Road than Fursungi, past Manterwadi and before Wadki, in a stretch where village lanes, new buildings and a large waste depot sit within a few kilometres. If you are looking for physiotherapy in Uruli Devachi, Proper Care Physiotherapy can send a physiotherapist to your door, so that a long trip to a city clinic is not the price of treatment.
This is one of the farthest areas we visit from our South Pune base. Visits are booked in advance, and we would rather say so at the start. Local detail that we could verify is limited, so this page covers the road, the municipal change, the depot and the practical side of a home visit, and leaves the rest out.
The Pune–Saswad Road passes Hadapsar, Fursungi, Manterwadi, Uruli Devachi and Wadki. The Katraj–Manterwadi Bypass starts in Katraj, passes Undri and Handewadi, and reaches Manterwadi, so for a physiotherapist coming from the South Pune base it is a natural way to reach the start of this stretch. After Manterwadi, the road continues to Uruli Devachi. It is being widened from two lanes to eight: a January 2026 report listed underpasses at Wadki, Uruli Devachi and Fursungi, and about a kilometre of flyover between Mantarwadi and Sadi Centre, with work around 45 per cent complete at that time.
While that goes on, expect diversions and slow stretches. We agree a time window, not an exact minute, and tell you if the physiotherapist is delayed.
Uruli Devachi and Fursungi were brought into the Pune Municipal Corporation in 2017. In September 2024 the state government formed a separate Nagar Parishad for the two. The waste depot here has also been in the news: in August 2026, residents protested open dumping and then a proposed new processing plant, and the dispute disrupted waste transport across the city for several days.
We do not take a side. What matters to a home visit is that access can be affected on some days. If your lane is near the depot, tell us and we will agree the safest approach with you.
Because verified detail about specific buildings is limited, we avoid generalising. Homes in villages of this kind commonly have features that shape what the physiotherapist looks for: a raised threshold, a step at the door, a toilet at floor level, sleeping on a mat or a low cot and stairs to a terrace or an upper room. In newer blocks, it may be stairs without a lift. The first visit includes a careful look at how the patient moves through each of these, and a plan to make them safer.
For many Uruli Devachi families, the nearest large hospital is in Hadapsar or the city, a long ride away. That has three effects on rehabilitation:
Home physiotherapy fills part of that gap. It is not a substitute for a surgeon's or doctor's review, and we will tell you when something needs one.
The guides to knee pain and stroke rehabilitation give the clinical background.
Many families here have sons or daughters working in another city. With the patient's consent, we can share the exercise plan and warning signs with them, so the person at home is not the only one who knows what to do. A short call after the first visit often settles worries.
The physiotherapist asks about the problem, examines movement, strength and balance, begins treatment when it is safe and leaves a plan. Have reports, discharge papers and medicines ready, with a firm bed or clear floor and a sturdy chair. Charges are on the pricing page. Go to an emergency department, without waiting for a visit, for sudden one-sided weakness, drooping of the face, trouble speaking, chest pain, severe breathlessness, loss of bladder or bowel control, a hot swollen calf after surgery or a fall that leaves you unable to bear weight.
Uruli Devachi is part of home physiotherapy in Fursungi, and we also visit Bhekrai Nagar. Request a home visit, give your landmark on Saswad Road, and say which days suit you.
